Two Can Play details you missed in chapters 501–582, with spoilers up to chapter 582.
1. The grey dress
For one of Lucia's "tests", Tasha buys Scarlett the ugliest dress in the shop, in a shade Scarlett once said made her look like a corpse. Scarlett cries because it's the first gift Tasha has ever given her: "I am going to keep this until the day I die." The test was meant to reveal whether Scarlett's love was real. It did, and Tasha still didn't believe it.
2. The photo in the locket
Lucia opens the pendant at the pool and laughs at "a sickly old hag". It's Lynette, Tasha's own mother, and the resemblance is striking. Scarlett has worn the locket openly since chapter 429; the book set up this moment a hundred chapters in advance.
3. Scarlett could always swim
In Big Bryan's house Scarlett let everyone believe she couldn't swim, so her enemies would look at the wrong weakness. She had nearly drowned as a child and taught herself to swim precisely so it could never be used against her. Tasha only learns the truth when Scarlett dives into the deep end for the locket.
4. Two slaps in one evening
Tasha is slapped twice at the hotel: first by Celeste, whom she threatens without recognising, and then by Scarlett, for the first time in her life. The two slaps mean opposite things. One is a stranger refusing to be threatened; the other is the only person who loves her refusing to be humiliated again.
5. The matching black
Sparrow sends for a dress for Scarlett in the same midnight cloth as his own suit, the same trick Dominic uses with Celeste all book long. Tasha, watching from the drive, understands exactly what it means before either of them has said it out loud.
6. A skipped appointment
In chapter 525 Sparrow cancels a routine medical appointment he has never missed in five years, because of something Scarlett told him the night before. The book lingers on it for a whole page. Details like that are rarely an accident.
7. Room 20
The man at the club gives Tasha the name "Trey" and a key to room 20. The man in the shower is Big Bryan. Lucia is the one who chose the club, the look and the timing, which makes it hard to believe the meeting was chance.
8. The turtleneck
In chapter 582 Tasha arrives at the hospital in a turtleneck, which Scarlett notes she never wears. Chapter 550 ended with Bryan behind her and a sharp pain in the side of her neck. The book hasn't said what happened, but it has told us where to look.
What these details set up
Most of these point to the chapters after 582. Lucia looks increasingly like someone's agent, possibly Bryan's, and her friendship with Granny raises uncomfortable questions. The skipped appointment and Scarlett's blood pressure are both health details the book has gone out of its way to plant. And the turtleneck means Tasha's story is far from over.
One more small detail is worth noting: Celeste's request to keep Tasha away from the party is made privately, and Dominic grants it without asking why. It's the same trust he showed with the grant money in the first hundred chapters, "I trust you", and it's why Tasha ends up alone with Lucia that night.
Our favourite is the grey dress. It's a cruel test, and Scarlett turns it into the most loving moment in the arc without ever knowing she was being tested.

Questions readers ask
Can Scarlett swim?
Yes. She pretended she couldn't while she was undercover in Big Bryan's house, and she has avoided water since a near-drowning as a child.
Whose photo is in Scarlett's locket?
Lynette's, Tasha's mother. Lucia mocks it at the pool without knowing, and Tasha only learns the truth afterwards.
