Pursuing My Rejected Luna Recap Part 3: The Woolf Estate

Greenwood River, the attack in the rose garden, a suite that locks from the inside, the first kiss and a paternity test that was never real. Chapters 81–120.

This Pursuing My Rejected Luna recap part 3 covers chapters 81–120: Skye's months at Greenwood River and her move to the Woolf estate, through Cassandra's exposure. Spoilers through chapter 120.

Previously, in Part 2: the pregnancy came out and the council granted the divorce.

Chapters 81–88: Greenwood River

Skye settles into her father's pack at nineteen weeks. Jaxon gets weekly video calls and short monthly visits. An anonymous text wishes her a new beginning. Nicolai keeps his promise not to crowd her, though Dimitri calls his distant check-ins halfway stalking.

Watching Diana and her father together, Skye learns their secret. Diana and Marco are fated mates. The bond snapped when Diana came to help during her sister's pregnancy with Skye, but both were committed to other people, so they waited for years and never acted on it. Diana understood Skye's loneliness because she lived a version of it. Skye forgives her: Diana saved her from the same fate.

On his first visit Jaxon sees Skye glowing, feels the baby kick, and finally admits to Noah that he is in love with her. Meanwhile strange wolves are watching the house. Marco explains that Dalton testified against a criminal ring after his release, and its friends may want revenge.

Chapters 89–93: The rose garden

In chapter 89 a man grabs Skye in the rose garden and threatens the baby. She fights him off and screams, and he escapes. Her father had already called Nicolai, who is driving through the night. Skye hesitates about running to him again. His answer: strength isn't refusing help, strength is knowing when to accept it.

Jaxon arrives as Nicolai is loading her car and begs her to come back to Ironwood. Skye tells him his answer is always more control. Nicolai asks if Jaxon can protect her from organised crime. He can't. He lets her go, and texts Nicolai: take care of her, please.

Chapters 94–108: The Woolf estate

The estate has three checkpoints and a stone-and-glass manor. Nicolai gives Skye her own suite in the west wing with a key: the doors lock from the inside, her privacy, her choice. Dimitri, the housekeeper Rena and security chief Mikhail welcome her without prying. On the terrace Nicolai admits that if she ever wanted more, they would need to be very careful, because he isn't sure he could let her go.

Skye chooses the name Benjamin, Benji, and tells Nicolai first. She helps Dimitri with correspondence and a territorial dispute, and accepts that the Woolf Family operates outside the law. Then Tatiana Volkov, Nicolai's ex, arrives and calls Skye another man's cast-off. Skye realises she is jealous, and falling for him.

The man who attacked her is dealt with, and the threat is gone. Nicolai turns Tatiana down for good and tells Skye she is free to leave. She doesn't want to. In chapter 108 he tells her there is no one else, asks before he kisses her, and they agree to figure it out together.

Chapters 109–112: Two visitors

Jaxon, visiting with Noah, sees Nicolai kiss Skye in the garden, and Noah tells him he never once looked at her like that. Skye asks to name Nicolai a guardian for the baby, and Jaxon doesn't contest it. At seven months, Cassandra appears at the gate claiming she and Jaxon have reconciled. Skye notices how scripted she sounds: she wanted something.

Chapters 113–120: The paternity test

Cassandra returns to Ironwood with new documents claiming Liam is Jaxon's. Noah insists on a council-supervised test. In chapter 113 the result arrives: Liam is not Jaxon's son. Cassandra admits she paid a technician to fake the first test, and that Liam's father is Jarrett Mays. Then she produces staged photos of Skye and Nicolai, and Jaxon files an inquiry anyway.

Skye refuses to hide: they open the doors and stand in the light. Nicolai offers the estate's records and a doctor's timeline, and the elders dismiss the inquiry in ten minutes. Skye tells Jaxon he always believes the worst of her first. Jaxon then bluffs Cassandra into a full confession: the photos were staged, she pointed the dangerous people from Dalton's case toward Skye, and Noah is her fated mate, whom she ignored to chase an Alpha. Cassandra is banished; Noah rejects the bond; Liam will go to his father.

At the estate Skye is furious, not broken. Nicolai tells her she made herself necessary to the room. In chapter 120 they say it at last: I love you.

Key takeaways

  • Diana's story mirrors Skye's: a bond that waited, and a choice not to wait.
  • Nicolai's power is real, but the book keeps his care for Skye front and centre.
  • Cassandra's lies were never just about Jaxon; they put Skye and the baby in danger.

Next: Recap Part 4: Benji.

Questions readers ask

Is Liam Jaxon's son?

No. A council-supervised test in chapter 113 proves he is not. Cassandra paid a lab technician to fake the first test, and Liam's father is Jarrett Mays from the eastern territories.

When do Skye and Nicolai first kiss?

In chapter 108, at the Woolf estate, after he tells her there has never been anyone else who mattered.

Why does Skye move to Woolf territory?

A man attacks her in her father's rose garden in chapter 89. The danger is tied to Dalton's testimony against a criminal ring, and Nicolai's estate is the safest place she can go.
